Biology: The Department of Biology offers three undergraduate degrees in Biology (B.S. in Biology, B.S. in Science Education, B.S. in Medical
Technology and one graduate degree (Master of Science in Biology). The department consists of 17 faculty representing the diversity of disciplines

Forensic Science: The MS in Forensic Sciences is a program designed to provide graduate
education for law enforcement personnel, forensic lab analysts, and
nursing professionals. The program offers options in technical investigations,
criminalistics and forensic nursing. Those wishing to pursue the technical
investigations option will likely have a background in some aspects of law
enforcement which involves crime scene investigation. The criminalistics option
is intended for those interested in or involved in analyzing evidence and will
require a strong background or major in the physical or natural sciences.
The forensic nursing option is designed for those who hold a bachelor's degree
